A Weekend In The Country

This weekend we went out to Daddy's and rode the horses to get them ready for the field trials. We had so much fun! I have to say, it was a little windy but still a beautiful day! I wish we could ride more often but with everyone's schedules it is so hard to get together. Brody loved it, he loves animals so much especially horses and cows. After we all rode Drew put a saddle on Banner our 1 1/2 year old colt who hasn't been ridden but a few times, ohhhhh it was funny. She didn't like someone telling her what to do or that bit in her mouth, but I have to say I was thrilled it was Drew on her back and not me. I have my share of days dancing with colts. She did end of doing just fine. I do however feel that Drew has changed his mind about riding a bull.....this is what he said he wanted to do one day- before he rode banner. Now I think he will stick to horses.

Thought I might give you all an update on Daddys progress- he goes for another surgrey on Wednesday, February 25, 2009. They will go down the throat to see if there are any more tumors or masses. I will keep you all informed of the results. Thank you for your prayers and thoughtfull cards. LOVE
